The Singapore Specials Club set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records on 10th July 2022, Sunday.
Owners and puppies of the Singapore Specials Club came together on Sunday for the SSC Night Walk MBS Encore. The second pack walk at MBS by the Singapore Specials Club saw owners and their puppies gathering near the Marina Bay open space public carpark from 5:45PM. The 1 hour / 4.7km walk started at around 6:45PM, routing around the scenic Marina Bay through the many insta worthy spots, including One Fullerton, the Merlion, Esplanade, Floating Platform, the Helix Bridge, and the ArtScience Museum.
The walk puts a new record into the Singapore Book of Records, namely the “Largest Gathering of Singapore Specials”. Guess how many Singapore Specials showed up? 235 were counted, although some late to the event might not be included. It is heart warming to see the Singapore Special breed becoming pets to many families, all thanks to the people like organiser of the event, Lisa Neo and the various Animal Working Groups working together to make the ADORE project a successful one.
We wish the Singapore Specials Club many more happy pack walks. Let us know if you were a part of the record setting event!
