Causes for Animals, (Singapore) Ltd is animal welfare charity organisation that aims to be a one-stop location for all local animal welfare groups and rescuers. We currently work with 15 shelters and independent feeders.
CAS runs an adoption centre where the animals we care for are all up for adoption. We also have active sponsorship schemed and kennel sponsorship schemes. CAS also runs corporate volunteer projects to raise awareness about animals in need and also advocate adoption.
Education is a key part of CAS programmes especially since we currently work on conducting programmes at schools. We are firm believers in education being the foundation of animal welfare. Many cases of neglect or abandonment that we’ve witnessed could have been avoided had the pet’s former owners been properly educated. CAS has several education programmes available for individuals of all ages.
The biggest advantage we have is not being just one independent stand alone shelter. We provide services, help and resources to other Animal Welfare organisations and we can provide a larger donation base for Donors and Corporations to contribute to rather than choosing just one.
